Why Senova
The shape of our approach
Reading-Led Format
Each session begins with a short reading circulated in advance. Discussions follow the text — not a speaker's agenda.
Small, Considered Cohorts
Groups of eight to twelve keep the conversation unhurried. Every voice has room. No one is moved along before they are ready.
No Advisory Agenda
Senova does not offer financial advice or product recommendations. All programmes are educational in scope, full stop.
Singapore Context
Reading materials draw on CPF structures, SRS frameworks, and the local vocabulary of household saving — relevant to the Singapore adult.
Tangible Materials
Clothbound journals, printed workbooks, and ledger templates give each programme a physical presence — something to return to beyond the sessions.
Paced for Adults
Formats are shaped around working schedules — evening series, weekend workshops, and monthly circles — without the pressure of academic deadlines.
Programme Schedule
A place in the next cohort
Cohort sizes are small by design. If a particular programme interests you, reach out to discuss current availability, dates, and what to expect from the reading materials.
Questions
Frequently Asked
Who are these programmes designed for?
Senova programmes are written for adults aged 40 and above who are at a natural pause point in their working lives. The reading materials are shaped around the kind of household financial questions that come up in mid-life and the years approaching retirement — not for someone starting out, and not for investment professionals.
Are these programmes accredited or advisory?
No. Senova programmes are educational reading and discussion workshops only. They are not accredited qualifications and do not constitute financial advice. No product, fund, or financial instrument is recommended at any point. Participants are encouraged to seek licensed financial advice for decisions.
How large are the cohorts?
Cohort sizes are kept deliberately small — typically eight to twelve participants for workshops, and twelve for the reading series. This keeps discussions at a conversational pace where quieter voices are still heard.
Where do sessions take place?
Sessions are held at the Senova reading room at Guoco Tower, 1 Wallich Street, Singapore. The space is quiet and unhurried — set up for small group reading, not lecture-style presentations.
What is the pricing and what is included?
The Mid-Life Reflection Circle is S$370 and includes a clothbound journal, monthly cards, and a peer notebook across four months. The Saving Habits Workshop is S$165 for two days, including a printed workbook and ledger template. The Retirement Income Mapping Series is S$840 across six evening sessions, including a clothbound reading binder, weekly glossary cards, and a private cohort newsletter.
